Dewayne Brown
DeWayne Brown is a retired first responder with a 25+ year career in law enforcement, including 16 years on a specialized SWAT team. He has played significant roles within a Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, serving as an Undercover Agent, Investigator, Deputy Commander, and Commander. Alongside his law enforcement duties, DeWayne dedicated 14 years as a volunteer firefighter, showing his commitment to community service.
Drawing from his personal experiences with PTSD and depression, he founded the Shepherd’s Light Foundation, aimed at supporting individuals who serve their communities and country. An avid outdoors-man, DeWayne enjoys waterfowl hunting, reflecting his deep appreciation for nature. His ongoing commitment to recovery and resilience continues to inspire many, encouraging others to overcome their challenges and thrive.
